I’m an experienced writer, business development director and student of the IT channel. As a former editor of Business Solutions magazine and director at Autotask (a PSA platform for IT service management), I spent a lot of time with the industry experts-many who would not place themselves in that category. Who qualifies as a channel champion? I rely on industry peers and my own experiences, and there is no shortage of innovators and leaders to write about. Many of them are not high profile individuals, don’t always rank at the top of magazine or website expert list, and usually work out of the limelight. Either way, I respect the work they do and only hope I can properly highlight some of the “value add” they provide to the IT channel.
